Ok….i know…this is wayyyy to late but anyways…. Recently, On3 a radiostation based in Munich asked us for an interview. They are doing a series called “New Hits From The Blog” and we were the lucky ones to be asked for an episode. On June 21 I – just coming back from Turkey – met Fumiko Lipp at […]

Dear friends, In the past days, I’ve been totally absorbed by Leslie Feist’s ”Caught a Long Wind”, a really soft piece with smooth lyrics. So I was pretty excited to hear SertOne’s (Ireland) remix of it, which I want to share with you. This talented guy really re-imagined the track with a pealing 8-bit treatment. We like it. […]

“doused” feels like the perfect name for this track from brooklyn’s beach fossils spin-off, diiv. the thumping drums and relentless, stabbing guitars evoke some criminal conspiracy – arson comes to mind. and the spectre of dubious activity only feels more likely with singer zachary cole’s premonitory incantation. if you enjoy the smell of gasoline, and your post-punk […]

What I don´t understand is how it could not receive the attention it deserves in the bsphere … I got it contact with the two ladies from Brooklyn via Facebook, which made […]

“obedear” is a first taste from electro-pop duo purity ring’s forthcoming 4ad/last gang debut, shrines (july 24). the moody synths, stammering beat and pitched-down samples, along with singer megan james’ sharp, girlish voice, combine for a sound that is at once familiar yet attention-grabbing. maybe something björk would spin. definitely worth a listen or ten. ƒ

How cool are these two ladies from Seattle? Just found them on the world wide web and had to play them on my radio show! Taken from their debut LP, Awe Naturale, we bring you their track “QueenS”:
