Young Wonder from Cork, Ireland deliver exactly what you would expect from a dub-poppy tune: bass lines, drum patterns, emotional vocals and a lot of synth. “Orange” builds up with a propulsive rhythm, resulting in a deep synth with subtle vocals. A combination which gives you a proper earworm.
The duo, consisting of Ian Ring’s beats and Rachel Koeman’s vocals, received great resonance by the blogosphere. Their self titled EP, released April 14th, features stunning and charming tracks.
