Doeseone, aka Adam Drucker, is the co-founder of the California based hip-hop and electronic label Anticon. Back in ’97, seven musicians and a manager founded the label around three eponymous ideals: anti-conventional, anti-conformity, ant-icon, and, in the past four years, their message has found a resurgent audience. Doeseone, who pulls shifts in cLOUDDEAD, Themselves, Subtle, 13 & God, among others, has finally announced his first solo album, G is for Deep, due out May 29. Far and away from the Tourettic rap style he’s known for, G presents a successful divergence.
